Like most moms, I struggle to get fruits and vegetables into my kids on a daily basis and if your not one of those moms and your kids eat tons of fruit and vegetables then I applaud you and want to know your secret! My kids have gotten a lot better since we have gone gluten free and dairy free but I always still struggling to get them to actually eat their fruits and veggies all the time. So I decided to make them a fun dip that tasted like they were eating candy, but little did they know it was made out of garbanzo beans, something they would never touch if I paid them to! Plus this recipe will take you under five minutes to make with your food processor and requires ONLY four ingredients and will last for a week in your fridge.
1 Can (15 oz.) of Garbanzo Beans, drained & rinsed
4 Tablespoons of Nut-Free Butter (like Sunflower Seed Spread)
2 Tablespoons of Agave Syrup
¼ Cup of Enjoy Life Foods Mini Chips
- In a food processor, combine all ingredients except the Mini Chip,Process until smooth (Like the consistency of peanut butter)
- Pour your mixture into a container and stir in the Mini Chocolate Chips.
3. Serve with your favorite fruit or veggie (my kids like it the best with apples and pears)!
I hope your kids enjoy this great HEALTHY snack dip as much as my kids do, make sure to share it with other mom’s as well as some of our other allergen-friendly recipes below!
