Yesterday morning as I began to make lunches for three kids (while very pregnant with the fourth) I thought to myself I am so over school and routine and getting kids out the door…I just want it to be summer break! Now ask me two weeks into summer break how much I probably can’t wait for everyone to go back to school…like every other parent during summer break! This summer though is the first summer in a very long time that I am fortunate to get to stay home with my children and ENJOY the summer with them. So I began writing myself a list of all of the places I wanted to go and ways I could save some money, find some things that were FREE and budget for a family of FIVE. As I was starting to do this I realized I should make it into a blog post for other mothers/fathers to utilize for the summer and also share some good deals and hidden places that maybe not many people know about. The list will be growing all summer and I will be updating it with ways to save on admission to places as well. Most of the places listed on the list below are located in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut as we live in Rhode Island, so please share this post with anyone who lives in or around those states!
